Per Connecticut State law, a vehicle owner has the right to choose, where he or she would like his or her vehicle repaired.  There are NO restrictions on what shop a vehicle owner chooses to have his or her repairs done at. Additionally, some insurance carriers may provide a list of repair shops to vehicle owners, but as a consumer, a vehicle owner is under no obligation to take his or her vehicle to the repair shops provided on that list.
